kipling bag

Have always been interested in getting one.
I love the monkey.
But I seriously don't like the color that they offer.
Black and blue look so erm....yucks...
So today I went out.
Coincidently, I saw a kipling bag that is love at first sight.
It's a messenger bag.
It's spacious.
It has a lot of compartments.
It can fit my laptop in.
It's purplish gray with beige stripes.
And it has a purple monkey that comes with it.

It is not that I am bored with my old bags.
It is just that they are used for a couple of years
and start to worn out a little.
This Kipling might share the load with the other bags.

I love my Kipling.

On crafts

Called my mom. And she was watching Korean series. which means I am disturbing her from watching tv.
So I promised I will call her on Monday.
1 side of my shoe is done. TaDA!! (HS hated it)

I am planning to make the other side totally different from this one.
Buttons maybe. I know it is plain. So? I like it.
Maybe someday when I die famous or what... This might be on auction in sotheby or something.
That is so damn cool.
MUAHAHAHHAA...
After this shoe, I probably will start to knit my own bag.
If I cannot earn money by making good advertising next time, worse come to worse, I can still feed myself by making bags.

What I have been up to lately.

I told you HS got me a pink bike. And in less than two days, it has scratches everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE.

The first time we rode for an hour around the park near our campus. And we found that it is indeed very thirsty to cycle that way. We decided to get ourselves the water bottle that they put on the bicycle.

HS also decided to get me a bell to put on my bike so that I can warn people that I am near. ( I am a reckless driver.)

So we were all happy and went to Dick's the sporting goods store. bought everything we needed.

The bottle hanger.

The nike bottle.

And went we come back, we found out that our bicycles are one of those 15% that doesn't have the screws for the hanger.T-T
Ohmigod.

But nevermind, I have something else to play with. I bought myself a pair of white canvas slip ons and some arcylic colors...and I am here to do some crafts. I have painted part of it silver. Will show you the outcome.

And recently, Adam's toy, Robo the robot that listen to your japanese commands. Talks, sings, dance and throw tantrums. Mine seems to love to throw tantrum a lot. So I decided to shut him up by putting back the slip into the battery hole. Damn.

Other than all that. It's all work.

HS got me a bike. And he said that is for my birthday.
I love it becase it is a red hot pink bike that i can touch the ground with my tips when I stop.
Since I am so happy, I decided to bake a layered german chocolate cake with coconut frosting.
See how it goes.

Canal Fest

I pretended to be sick yesterday and skipped work. And I went to play. Because no play for me makes me a dull girl.
So the whole lot of us went to the summer fest at Erie Canal. Funny thing that I never been there since I have made like a campaign out of it.
Since it is a Fun Fest, of course it includes the horrifying rides, the game stalls that steal your money away from you, and a lot of food stalls selling ice cream and popcorns and cotton candy and corndogs and sandwiches and clams.
Reached there at 7. Got myself a raspberry sided sundae.
Then I got on a ride named the claw.

The reason why this ride is horrifying because it is not like the ordinary roller coaster ride that last like 1 second. This, they put you up there such a long time and turn you like 360 degree up high in the sky, and turn, and turn, and another time.
When I came down we were all dizzy. The most embarrasing thing is that the whole lot of us adults were screaming like hell and the primary school kids were cool as cucumber. Dang.

The guys went to another ride named zero gravity, it spins you round and round, faster and faster and eventually in 90 degrees and you are standing on the machine. Again, I think they were the oldest players there, and they were also those who screamed like babies. Extremely mempersiasuikan.

After that we got lured by the big presents the game stalls give away, we ended up getting conned by contributing some money to them.

We strolled down the road later, and I see gateway harbor.

It is not something to shout about like the one in Baltimore. It is small and humble.
This is the bridge on top of the harbor.

We walked further down the road and I see ponies.

And more game stalls.
Then we saw a concert going on.
Like a teeny weeny boring concert but everyone over the age of 35 seemed to enjoy it.
Occassionally, some toddlers were being forced down to the dance pool.Too young to walk around alone.

It was quite late and hungry after all these strolling, we went to wild wings.
On the way to get the car, we saw this car.

They even have a screen on the bonnet showing what song the system is playing.
And there is this big tank of nitrous gas that I have never seen installed in real cars.
I only see it and used it in needforspeed.

Looks like one of the " REDI? SETTO? GO!" type of cars that we saw in Tokyo Drift. By the way, that is the stupidest movie I have ever saw.

It was a fun experience. And skipping work is worth the fun that I had.

janet jackson: 20 years old

I decided to join, since I might get lucky and win myself into the field that i always wanted to be.
I looked at what others had created..and yeah...they are good...
I don't think I can win.
I wanted to do something cool.

We are given a whole lot of Janet Jackson's old picture to make into a new one.

At first, I came out with this really simple one.

Then I realized it was too simple. Then I tried out Andy Warhol pop art feel.

But I think it looks stupid.

Then I thought of a really cool idea of having part of the background ripped off like a paper and show all her other pictures underneath. But I don't have that advance skills to do it.

Shitness.

So I decided to combine the first cover and the andy warhol together. And it became a really lame cover. I think Janet Jackson won't even give a damn about it.

Maybe I am going to try out some other layout.
Afterall there is another 3 days for me to think.

Feedbacks people. Tell me how to improve.
But please don't tell me to do something which is totally impossible.

Another non constructive day.

Woke up early in the morning.
Getting used to waking up early nowadays.
Cooked pooridge.Put three scallops.
Checked mail. Waited for 8.30 so that I can call USPS to reschedule for delivery.
Damn they never bother to show any sign of calling you up.
Or knocking at your door when they want your signature during pick up.
They just give you a notice, saying that you are not at home
(and damn I was at home all the time)
and want you to go pick up yourself.
Lazy people.
At the meantime, tried to bug some people i see on my MSN list.
Nobody replied.
Good ol'Adrian entertained me for a while.
8.30.
So I called USPS up for at least four times and it cut off like out of a sudden everytime.
When I call it goes back to the stupid irritating voice menu that can never understand what I say.
And finally I got this lady.
At last.
rescheduled.
When I get that tommorow. I am all set to send off my passport to renew.
And also a couple of things to Chin Hwa, and HS's sister that I should have sent ages ago.
And also the fake abercrombie that I bought on ebay.
I am so sending it back and getting a refund.
The seller say yes she will give me a refund.
Now I am sleepy.
And bored.
Maybe I'll do a little bit of reading before going back to bed.
At least make it a more constructive day.

In a melancholy state of mind.

They said that usually the decisions that you make early in the morning is the most accurate decisions ever.
So I decided to let go.
Actually I had already let go.
But why do I still feel that way?
I feel depressed.
Whenever I think about you.
I feel sad.
Whenever I imagine you holding her hands.
I feel gloomy.
Whenever I know you are out of my life.
I am in a melancholy state of mind.

wake up and smell nothing

Woke up really early today.
6.30. A.M.
The last time I woke up this early was ages ago, you know, during the "dark ages" when I gotta catch a KTM to school.
So I woke up, called my aunt in London.
Chatted for a while.
Then checked my mail.
And was a little bit bored so I took a picture of myself as if I were a villian in a superhero comic.

And it turn out crap.
I look like a villian who got beaten up and got stuck to the windows on some skyscraper and still don't fail to pose.

Okay.
Bedtime.
Goodnite.

A boring Monday Afternoon

" You talking to me? "

" Let me see.."

" Do I know you? "

" Omigod..I couldn't remember.."

" Now I know who you are. You are another boring person reading my blog."

But now I do realize why my mom say that I am fat as shit.
So I will try my best to shed 30 pounds again.
YES. THE DIET PLAN DIN TURN OUT AS I WANTED IT TO BE.

My brother got caught dating.

Big deal.

He would be considered fortunate enough if he's not shattered into pieces.

I'll be home for christmas.(I hope)
